The start of the end of my schooling has just begun. Heading into my final year at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay I look to refine my design skills and polish my portfolio.

On my quest to refine and expand my design skills I have decided to enroll into Intro to Photography. While my skills and knowledge of an SLR camera are intermediate, I haven’t had formal training on a SLR camera. I decided the in-depth teaching of every part of the camera would be only beneficial to my advancement. Not only that but the class involves using film instead of digital. Believe me I have already felt the price of film burn through my wallet, but my excitement easily diminishes that problem.

I need some more experience.
At work I have become very familiar with a Canon SLR Rebel XSi. Together with the Canon manual and help from a co-worker, I have become familiar with a good number of the tools and features that support the Rebel XSi. I know however I could definitely use some more experience.

Over the next semester I will be experimenting with different processes and techniques so be sure the check back often on my progress. So, until next time I’m Audi 5000.
